Alana Workman,
Hematology/Oncology
“Dr. Workman noticed a patient who was wheelchair-bound struggling to navigate the cafeteria. Without hesitation, she offered her assistance and helped him gather his meal, leaving her own lunch behind. Dr. Workman exemplifies what it means to put service before self and show genuine care and compassion to the community.”

Michelle Najarro,
Emergency Services
“Not only was Michelle a support person for her patient, but for the family members by her side who were scared of what was happening. She was even training at the time and was ensuring that her counterpart understood, step by step, what she was doing and included him in the care. I am forever grateful for the compassion and patience Michelle showed my sister.”

Michelle Medellin,
Prior Authorization and Certification
“We had a patient who needed a critical procedure. There were a lot of stipulations in this patient’s insurance plan. Michelle went above and beyond to help get this patient approved and spent countless hours with the insurance company. Due to her tireless efforts and communication, she was able to get the insurance company to approve the procedure. Michelle advocates for our patients so they can get the care they need.”
