Visiting Hours

Cheyenne Regional reserves the right to impose visitor restrictions on infectious patients. If a patient is admitted with COVID or any other contagious disease, additional limitations for visitation may be put in place to best safeguard patients, visitors, and staff.

Learn how to properly wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

There are different kinds of precautions at Cheyenne Regional that could require slightly different enhanced precautions during your visit. Sometimes, these enhanced precautions will require a visitor to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) while visiting. When precautions are needed, look for a sign on the door to determine which enhanced precautions are in effect.

Regardless of precautions, it is recommended for family and friends to use the hand sanitizer next to the patient door before entering and when exiting your loved ones’ room.

This video teaches visitors how to put on and take off (don and doff) PPE when enhanced respiratory precautions are in effect.
