Samantha Michelena, MD
OB/GYN Medical Staff

“Dr. Michelena went above and beyond with her care of a patient on Labor and Delivery. She was not originally her patient, but she remained in house to assure she would be immediately available if needed. She was needed for an urgent C-section and was very prompt. She was so kind and caring with the patient. We are blessed to have her at CRMC.”

Preston Grieve
Security Officer

“A patient had suffered from an altered mental status and thought they were at home and that their dog had gotten out. We tried to comfort and console the patient when Preston came along and suggested we go to the ED to find a stuffed dog. We brought the little dog to this patient, and they lit up like a Christmas tree. Preston has a kind soul and a gentle heart.”

Jared Chicos,
Medical Lab Technician

“Jared is consistently looking out for patients and maintains a very close relationship with the Cancer Center providers, which I believe ensures our patients receive the best patient care and allows for the entire team at the Cancer Center to be successful. He assists in running the laboratory at the Cancer Center with efficiency and care. Even though Jared is not in a leadership position, he regularly leads his department by training new staff, keeping up with competencies, performing proficiency testing and many more tasks that are not written out in his job description. He is truly an amazing employee, and I don’t know what the Cancer Center would do without him.”
