Leading the Way in Limb Salvage, Cheyenne Regional Medical Center First to Offer The LimFlow TADV System for Patients with CLTI
LEADING THE WAY IN LIMB SALVAGE, CHEYENNE REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER FIRST TO OFFER THE LIMFLOW TADV SYSTEM FOR PATIENTS WITH CLTI
CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Chronic Limb Threatening Ischemia (CLTI), a severe form of peripheral arterial disease (PAD), often leads to limb loss and diminished quality of life for patients with advanced disease. Cheyenne Regional Medical Center is the first hospital in Wyoming to offer Transcatheter Arterialization of the Deep Veins (TADV), providing a new option for patients who previously had no treatment choices.
TADV is an innovative procedure that offers patients a second chance at life and limb. The LimFlow TADV System* is the first and only device to receive premarket approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and provides a minimally invasive treatment option for patients who have exhausted traditional therapies and face the prospect of major amputation.
Transforming Patient Outcomes
The LimFlow TADV procedure restores blood flow to affected limbs by rerouting oxygen-rich blood to the deep veins, bypassing blocked or damaged arteries. This approach promotes wound healing, reduces pain and lowers the risk of amputation.
Recent clinical studies have demonstrated the efficacy and safety of the LimFlow TADV procedure in patients who otherwise would have required amputation, showing:
73% limb salvage rate at 12 months with sustained efficacy of 68% at 24 months
92% healed or healing wounds at 12 months with long-term rate of 83% at 24 months
69% pain-free at 24 months
A Multidisciplinary Solution for CLTI
The success of the TADV procedure relies on a collaborative approach among vascular interventionalists, podiatrists and wound care specialists to maximize outcomes. Cheyenne Regional Medical Center is committed to advancing multidisciplinary care that brings together expertise to improve patient health and quality of life.
Expanding Access to TADV
Cheyenne Regional Medical Center is working with health care providers, institutions and policymakers to expand access to the LimFlow TADV procedure, ensuring that more patients with CLTI can benefit from this advanced therapy.
