Cheyenne Regional Medical Center to Host Spring Into Brain Health Symposium

Cheyenne Regional Medical Center will host its Spring Into Brain Health symposium on May 9, 2026, offering community members an opportunity to learn practical ways to reduce stroke risk and support lifelong brain health.

The event, themed “Empowering Yourself Against Stroke,” will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Blue Community Events Center, 2401 E. Pershing Blvd., with doors opening at 8 a.m.

The symposium will feature presentations from Cheyenne Regional Medical Center providers and specialists, including Dr. Hart, who will discuss how primary care plays a critical role in lifelong brain health, and Amy Spieker, who will address how social factors influence stroke risk.

Attendees will also hear from an exercise physiologist, dietitian and physical therapist on how nutrition and physical activity can help prevent stroke. Sessions will highlight the importance of preventive health care, available community resources and how small lifestyle changes can have a meaningful impact on overall health.

The event includes lunch provided by Crow Creek Catering, as well as door prizes for attendees.
