Cheyenne Regional Medical Center’s Marketing Department Receives National Awards

June 20, 2018

Cheyenne, WY― Cheyenne Regional Medical Center’s Marketing and Communications Department was recently presented with three gold, one silver, two bronze and four merit awards from the Healthcare Advertising Awards, a national healthcare marketing competition that this year included 4,000 entries from across the United States. The awards were given for materials created in 2017.

CRMC’s gold awards were for a newspaper ad focusing on the use of BotoxÒ injections to treat migraine headaches, a poster to encourage the use of a designated driver when drinking and a cinema ad to discourage distracted driving. The silver award was for the hospital’s “Find Your Right Fit” professional recruitment program and the bronzes were given for CRMC’s nursing annual report and a “Care Connect Expo” community event. Merit awards were presented for a flyer advertising a mammography outreach event, a poster promoting the CRMC Foundation’s “Bison Shuffle” fundraiser and for two cinema ads, one to encourage the use of a designated driver when drinking and the other to encourage the use of seatbelts.

“I’m very proud of what our marketing team has accomplished over the past few years. Winning these awards is rewarding and is also validation of the outstanding work that we believe we are doing for the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center and our clinics,” said Hillary Hardy, CRMC’s director of Marketing and Communications. “My team is a tight-knit group, with experience that extends from public relations and copywriting to online media and traditional print design. I ask a lot of our department, and they’ve been willing to ‘wear any hat’ I’ve asked. They make work enjoyable, and it’s an honor to call them my teammates. They are truly experts in their fields.”

A national panel of judges reviewed the entries and granted awards to work that showed exceptional quality, creativity and message effectiveness.

Gold awards were given to 360 entries, silver awards to 317 entries and bronze awards to 280 entries.

The Healthcare Advertising Awards is sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report, a leading publication focused on healthcare marketing, advertising and strategic business development. This was the 35th year for HMR to host the awards competition, which is the oldest and largest healthcare advertising competition of its kind in the United States.
