Cheyenne Regional Medical Center to Host “Nourish and Nurture” Breastfeeding Celebration

Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, in partnership with the Wyoming Institute of Population Health and the Laramie County Lactation Coalition, will host “Nourish and Nurture: A Celebration of Motherhood” on May 8, bringing families together to honor the powerful connections that support mothers and babies.

The event will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, 214 E. 23rd St., in Meeting Rooms C and D.

The celebration will recognize mothers who have helped babies in need by donating breast milk to a milk bank, as well as families who have received the gift of donor milk. It will also honor the infants and families who inspire ongoing efforts to strengthen maternal and infant health in the community.

A highlight of the event will be a Community Latch On, where breastfeeding mothers are invited to come together and latch their babies at the same time in a visible show of support, connection and shared experience.

Families, supporters and community members are encouraged to attend this free event, which celebrates motherhood while raising awareness about the importance of breastfeeding and community support.

Through partnerships and community-focused initiatives like this event, Cheyenne Regional Medical Center continues to support maternal and infant health and advance its mission to inspire great health.
