Cheyenne Regional Medical Center to Host Free Stop the Bleed Classes in Laramie County

Cheyenne Regional Medical Center is offering two free Stop the Bleed classes to help community members gain lifesaving skills and make Laramie County safer.

The classes will be held on May 20 and May 21 and are open to the public. Participants will learn why hemorrhage control is critical and will be trained in three techniques to help prevent life-threatening blood loss.

Each participant will receive a free Stop the Bleed kit, valued at $50, while supplies last. The kits are provided by the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center Foundation and include gloves, gauze, a pressure dressing, scissors, a tourniquet and a marker.

Class times and locations are:
May 20 at 6 p.m. at Pine Bluffs Town Hall
May 21 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, 214 E. 23rd St., in Meeting Rooms C and D
