Second Annual Navigating Diabetes Symposium to Offer Education, Testing and Family-Friendly Activities
Oct. 7, 2025 — The second annual Navigating Diabetes Community Symposium will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, in the Clay Pathfinder Building’s main conference room at Laramie County Community College, 1400 E. College Drive. Registration will open at 8 a.m.
The half-day event, themed “Setting Sail Toward Better Diabetes Management,” is open to all ages and will feature guest speakers, free on-site A1C and T1D risk testing for all registered participants, a live cooking demonstration, vendors and special guest appearances. Light refreshments, lunch, door prizes and giveaways will also be provided.
Admission is $15 for individuals or $25 for families. Families and caregivers are encouraged to attend. Advance registration is recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.
“This symposium is designed to empower and inform community members of all ages,” said Kimberly Hoyt, diabetes educator. “We want families and caregivers to leave with practical tools, knowledge and inspiration for managing diabetes.”
