John, Anub, MD
Dr. Anub John, an interventional cardiologist, joined the CRMG Heart & Vascular Institute in August of 2022. Dr. John completed his fellowship in interventional cardiology in 2019 and was in practice at CHI Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, NE, for three years before joining CRMG.
Dr. John said he is excited to join the CRMG Heart & Vascular Institute because of its reputation for providing high-quality cardiac care: “It is known to be one of the premier cardiac institutes in this region.”
When caring for patients, Dr. John said he is a big proponent of preventing problems before they happen.
“Controlling risk factors before manifestation of disease is extremely important and is one of my goals as a physician,” he said. “I also believe it’s important to be a good listener when talking to patients and to tailor therapy to meet each patient’s specific needs.”
Dr. John said he decided to become a cardiologist because he hopes to make a difference in the lives of patients with heart disease.
“Cardiac diseases are very prevalent and cause high mortality and morbidity,” he shared. “But the good news is that there is a lot of ongoing research and scientific evidence that we can use to help patients with heart disease live better and longer.”
Dr. John is married and has a young son. His wife, who is also focused on helping others, is currently training to become a family physician. In his free time, Dr. John enjoys spending time with family in addition to traveling, watching movies and playing the piano. One of his current goals is to spend more time traveling around Wyoming, enjoying its many scenic, wide-open spaces.
