Cheyenne Regional to Host First Annual Movement Matters Orthopedic Symposium
September 2, 2025 – Cheyenne Regional Medical Group Orthopedic and Surgical Specialists will host its first annual Movement Matters Orthopedic Symposium on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 9 a.m. to noon in Auditoriums A and B at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Doors open at 8:30 a.m.
This year’s theme, “Charting the Course: Advancing Sports Injury Prevention and Shoulder Surgery,” will highlight new approaches to injury prevention, advanced treatments for shoulder function, and innovations in shoulder surgery. The symposium is designed for recreational athletes, active adults, and healthcare professionals.
Featured presentations include:
- Dr. Jonathan Knott: “Injury Prevention and Treatment in Recreational Athletes”
- Dr. Bret Winter: “Innovations in Shoulder Arthroplasty”
- Patient testimonial: A firsthand account from a total shoulder replacement recipient.
“Shoulder injuries and other musculoskeletal issues can impact people of all ages and activity levels,” said Dr. Jonathan Knott, orthopedic surgeon with Cheyenne Regional Medical Group. “This symposium is a great opportunity to share practical strategies that help people stay active, prevent injuries, and recover more effectively if they do get hurt.”
The $20 registration fee includes breakfast, snacks and prize drawings. The registration deadline is Sept. 29.
