Cheyenne Regional Medical Center Earns Advanced Primary Stroke Center Certification from The Joint Commission

Aug. 22, 2025 – Cheyenne Regional Medical Center has earned certification as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center from The Joint Commission, the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in healthcare.

This certification, effective June 24, 2025, is valid for up to 24 months and recognizes the hospital’s commitment to providing high-quality, safe and effective stroke care. CRMC has been accredited through The Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center since 2019. The Gold Seal of Approval® from The Joint Commission symbolizes excellence and reflects the hospital’s dedication to improving patient outcomes, workforce excellence and community trust.
