Linda G. Williams, MS, RN

Senior Lecturer, University of Wyoming

Linda G. Williams is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Wyoming, Fay W. Whitney School of Nursing in Laramie, WY. She has been teaching nursing students on campus and online full-time since 1999. Her teaching areas are health promotion, public/community health, and nursing leadership as well as medical-surgical nursing.

Linda is a 2 time graduate of the University of Wyoming receiving her BSN in 1981 and M.S. in Nursing Care Systems Management and Community Health in 1990. She has been a member of Sigma Theta Tau, Alpha Pi Chapter since 1987 and was a member of the WNA/ANA for 36 years. Linda practiced nursing for 40 years in a variety of nursing specialties and retired in 2015.

Linda received the College of Health Sciences Innovation in Teaching Award in 2014. She was recently promoted to Senior Lecturer and is currently working on curriculum development in the new ReNEW BSN Completion Program. She resides in Cheyenne, WY and has since 1973.
