Willen, Benjamin, MD

Benjamin Willen, MD has practiced radiation oncology for four years and practiced in Detroit before moving here.

Dr. Willen found his calling with radiation oncology because of his interest in its fascinating technology to safely kill cancer cells and he wants to be a source of healing and a valuable educational resource for people navigating the world of cancer care.

“My patient care philosophy is to provide personalized medicine for each patient and taking into consideration their priorities and treatment goals to formulate the right path for the patient and their family,” Dr. Willen says.

He chose Cheyenne Regional Medical Center because it presented a wonderful opportunity to provide excellent care within a system that places patient care and treatment outcomes as its highest priority.

When he is not providing personalized care for his patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, exploring new hiking trails, playing volleyball, skiing and mountain biking.
