Palliative Care

Jackson, Amy, NP

Amy Jackson, a seasoned ICU and cardiac nurse, has transitioned to a new palliative care nurse practitioner role. Her passion for this field stems from a desire to restore quality of life and alleviate suffering for patients and their families facing serious illnesses.

During clinical rotations in Wyoming, she was drawn to the community-oriented healthcare environment at CRMC, which led her to begin her career as a nurse practitioner focusing on individualized, compassionate care.

Amy prioritizes personalized care, human dignity, and treating patients like family. She aims to collaborate with patients and families to develop tailored treatment plans, providing education and enhancing their quality of life through comprehensive care.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she spent five years in cardiology nursing and transitioned to critical care in 2020. These experiences inspired her pursuit of becoming a nurse practitioner.

Beyond work, she finds solace in running, road biking, and water coloring. Amy is excited to continue making a meaningful difference as a palliative care nurse practitioner.
