Cheyenne Regional is Celebrating 150 Years of Being Your Community Hospital

Cheyenne Regional Medical Center has a long and proud history of serving our community and the surrounding region. We started as a tent hospital in 1867, to care for workers injured while building the transcontinental railroad. Shortly after, the hospital was purchased by Cheyenne’s founding fathers. Over the next 150 years, our hospital would continue to grow in expertise and size as we strived to meet the many and diverse medical needs of our region.

It’s a heritage we are extremely proud of, and one that we invite you to help us celebrate in 2017.

Currently, a committee of employees, managers and senior leaders, is hard at work planning anniversary events (and celebration opportunities) for the coming year. They will focus on recognizing and celebrating the hard work of our employees, and also honoring the many local partnerships we have formed throughout the years. Please watch for more news about these celebrations in the weeks to come.
