Adams, Curtis, MD

Curtis Adams, MD is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee replacements for both simple and complex cases. Prior to joining us in Cheyenne, he practiced for 12 months in a fellowship at the University of California at Davis.

Dr. Adams and his family were looking for small community hospitals in the Mountain West when they fell in love with Cheyenne Regional and Dr. Adams saw an opportunity to build a long-term practice and offer state-of-the-art hip and knee care to the people of Wyoming.

Dr. Adams pursued a career as a physician because he finds great purpose and enjoyment in helping patients heal. “I believe every patient is a unique individual. My aim as a physician and surgeon is to maximize each individual’s wellness and mobility and to help them achieve their personal goals through treating disease and maximizing physical health,” Dr. Adams says. “I love hip and knee replacements because there’s something incredible about being able to give someone their life back when they are debilitated with pain or stiffness.”

Dr. Adams is happily married to his wife, Savannah, and they have two adorable daughters. He is also an avid runner and has completed five marathons. He and his family enjoy fishing, hunting, skiing and grilling a mean steak!
