Dr. Aaron Freeman Excited to be Back in Cheyenne

August 9, 2021

Dr. Aaron Freeman, a family physician with Cheyenne Plaza Primary Care, focuses on making his patients’ lives better.

Dr. Aaron Freeman began his medical practice at Cheyenne Plaza Primary Care in the summer of 2020. He recently shared what motivated him to become a family physician and why he’s excited to be back in Cheyenne:

When did  you join Cheyenne Plaza Primary Care?

I finished residency in Wichita, Kansas, at the Wesley Family Medicine Residency and came back here after graduating in 2020.

Why did you decide to become a family physician?

I wanted a career where I could do some good in the world.

Why did you and your family decide to move to Cheyenne?

Cheyenne is my hometown. I started high school here, and most of my family is here. I’m happy to be home, and my wife and baby love being close to family.

What is your philosophy of patient care?

I’m here to make my patients’ lives better. I was taught broad traditional family medicine where I do as much as I can to help patients. Currently I am focused on helping patients with chronic pain, some psychiatry issues and certain procedures. I will also be overseeing a weight-loss program in the near future.

Is there anything else you would like to share?

My wife and I have a son who is almost two years old. I love to rock climb, play music with my wife (who is a talented drummer) and enjoy spending time with my family.

Dr. Freeman is accepting new patients. To make an appointment, call Cheyenne Plaza Primary Care at (307) 633-7444.
