Supportive Care Services

Cheyenne Regional Medical Center’s Supportive Care team (formerly Palliative Care) takes a patient- and family-centered approach to caring for patients of any age and at any stage of a serious or chronic illness.

We focus not only on treating the physical symptoms of disease and side effects of treatment, but also offer emotional, social and spiritual support to patients, caregivers and family.

Supportive Care services

Supportive Care helps patients with a serious illness live as well as possible for as long as possible.

Supportive Care can be delivered in the hospital and at home by our team of healthcare professionals, which includes physicians, advanced practice providers, social workers and chaplains.

In addition to focusing on patient comfort and goals of care, Cheyenne Regional’s Supportive Care and Hospice Care teams provide many additional services, including but not limited to the following:

Who is eligible for Supportive Care?

Supportive Care is available to those living with a chronic, serious illness. Patients need a referral from a primary or specialty provider.

Most insurances cover Supportive Care.
