empowerment-libraryAn individual receiving a cancer diagnosis often has so many questions that it may be hard to know where to begin. The Cheyenne Regional Cancer Center has a well-stocked library of cancer references and resources that can help answer some of those questions. The library also has reference materials that cover a multitude of subjects from nutrition and exercise to the spiritual and inspirational. The library additionally has a ‘”Just for Fun” section that includes fiction books and other interesting, mind-relaxing reads. Materials can be checked out so that the patient can take them home to read.

Computers and printers are available so that patients can research reliable cancer sites on the internet. American Cancer Society hospital volunteers are available to help patients find reliable sources and information.
