Pulmonary Rehabilitation

When starting pulmonary rehabilitation at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, each patient is assessed for needs, strength and limitations.

Using this information, the pulmonary rehabilitation team then designs a personalized exercise program, which may be physician-supervised. The Pulmonary Rehab team is always present and will monitor your oxygen levels and make needed recommendations.

After completing pulmonary rehabilitation, many patients report benefits such as:

  • Breathing better
  • Becoming more active
  • Increased endurance and strength
  • Reduced occurrences of flare-ups and hospitalizations
