The 2021 program will include featured guest speaker, Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Abdur Khan, to highlight the importance of Prevention of Heart Disease by knowing and lowering your individual risk factors, making healthy lifestyle changes and improvements in your health. He will share specific information on the physiological impact of stress on your heart and how to recognize when you should seek medical attention. Dr Jasper Chen will speak to the mental and emotional impact of being diagnosed with Heart Disease and how you can overcome fear and build a support group and positive coping mechanisms. You’ll hear a personal testimony from a brave patient that found his way after his diagnosis. Again, as in previous years, you will have the opportunity to ask questions to a panel of cardiology experts.

Your registration will also include a “Conference in a Box” which will have everything you need to participate in the conference including:

  • Conference agenda
  • Tobacco cessation info
  • Dietary tips
  • Printed instructions on how to ask a question during the event
  • Several giveaways to include hand sanitizer/wipes, an exercise band, heart-healthy recipes, a healthy snack and a stress ball
