As our population continue to age, and as we all continue to live longer, more and more people are going to need nursing home care at some point in their lives. In Wyoming, nursing home care costs an average of $84,000 annually, and this figure will only continue to increase in the future. This free seminar is tailored to those people with concerns about the affordability of nursing home care. Attorney Brianne Sherman will discuss Medicaid long-term care eligibility and the planning opportunities available to allow an individual to qualify to Medicaid long-term care assistance.

Brianne is a Senior Associate in Long, Reimer, Winegar, Beppler LLP’s Cheyenne office. She focuses her practice primarily in the area of estate planning with an emphasis on asset protection and Medicaid planning, special needs trusts, and elder law specific issues. Brianne received a B.S. in Finance, cum laude, from the Metropolitan State College of Denver in 2006, and her J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law with honors in 2011. She is licensed to practice law in Colorado, North Dakota and Wyoming.
