At the end of the night, we all just want to get home safely.

Since 2010, the number of people arrested in Wyoming for driving impaired has steadily decreased*, and in 2019, alcohol-impaired driving fatalities decreased to the lowest percentage nationwide since 1982.**

Your choices are creating positive change!

Let’s keep these great trends going—
and keep taking care of each other out on the road—
by choosing safe ways to get home if you’ve been drinking, smoking marijuana, or engaging in other activities that affect your judgement and perception.

There’s better choices to make than driving impaired.

Driver Icon

Designate a driver.

If you’re planning to drink, plan ahead for a ride! Choose someone who’s going out with you—or make arrangements before you go with a friend who’s staying home—to ensure you have a sober driver to pick you up at the end of the night.

Rideshare Icon

Use a rideshare.

Download the Uber or Lyft app so you can easily schedule a ride home.

Phone Icon

Ask your phone to get you a ride home.

If you have an iPhone, make sure the screen is unlocked and say, “Hey Siri, I need a ride home.” Your phone will automatically bring up a shortcut to your rideshare app (if you have one installed), or a button you can click to call a taxi.

If you’re using a Samsung, you can set up a custom voice command in My Bixby that will bring up your Uber or Lyft app; for example, “Hi Bixby, I need a ride home.”

Make the choice to get home safely!
