December 6, 2021 Master Facility Update #08
Below is an overview of construction that is happening at Cheyenne Regional West for this upcoming week.
Highlights:
- B1 elevator car will be down for approx. 5 hours on Tuesday, December 7th.
- Lift will be set up in the dock area on Thursday, December 9th. Access to dock doors will remain available.
- Continuing construction noise from 4th floor renovation.

What is happening? | Elevator car B1 will be down for approximately 5 hours for maintenance. The B2 car will remain operational. Please expect slight delays when utilizing the B elevators.

When is this happening? | Tuesday, December 7th beginning at 6am. Anticipated to be complete around 11am. |
Why is this happening? | Electrical maintenance is required as part of the A1 elevator renovation. |

What is happening? | West Building = 24th Street Forklift
This is NOT a road closure. The forklift will be operating in the dock area. Contractor will coordinate to accommodate dock access. |
When is this happening? | December 9th, anticipated to be between 8am to 12pm |

What is happening? | General scraping, pounding, grinding, demolition noise and vibration on the 4th floor, 68 building and patient tower.

Where is this happening? | Demolition will continue to be on the 4th floor in the old TCU space. Framing is being installed in the old 4-2 unit and on the north end of the old TCU space. Several rooms on 3-2 are currently closed to accommodate new plumbing openings. |
When is this happening? | Week of December 6th. |
Why is this happening? | As part of the Master Facility Plan, we are remodeling the 4th floor 68 building and 4th floor patient tower to accommodate a new Mother Baby Unit. This construction will be ongoing until fall of 2022. |
