Cheyenne, WY—Cheyenne Regional Medical Center invites community members to learn more about its Patient and Family Advisory Council, which helps guide planning and decision-making at the hospital.
Former patients and their family members as well as interested community members are invited to attend informational meetings at the hospital on Nov. 19, 1 to 2 p.m., in Auditorium B and December 3, 5 to 6 p.m., in Auditorium A. The hospital is located at 214 E. 23rd St. The auditoriums are located next to the hospital’s cafeteria.
“Started in January 2013, the Patient and Family Advisory Council ensures that care at our hospital is patient- and family-centered, “ said Lonny Dobler, a Cheyenne Regional pharmacist and member of the hospital’s patient experience team. “The council has made several recommendations that our system has implemented.”
Other goals of the council are to bring patient and family needs or concerns to the attention of Cheyenne Regional employees and leaders; to improve patient and family satisfaction; to guide Cheyenne Regional’s priorities and planning and to build a positive relationship between Cheyenne Regional Medical Center and members of the community.
“We want to thank the current council members for their service to our system and community, and we look forward to working with other members of the community on ensuring that Cheyenne Regional Medical Center and our entire healthcare system provides high-quality care and a positive patient experience,” Dobler said.
