Cheyenne Regional (CRMC) offers a variety of ACLS courses to meet the needs of the learner. Please read course descriptions carefully. All ACLS courses meet the American Heart Association (AHA) Standards. ACLS involves the recognition and treatment of arrhythmias, cardiac arrest and other life-threatening conditions.
ACLS Heartcode combines on-line learning with skills integration via a live course. Students will be issued on-linem learning modules. After the completion of these on-line learning modules, the student will participate in a 6 hour, live skills integration portion. This course is recommended for those students that are renewing their certification and are familiar with course content. Students must hold a current ACLS certification to take this course.
The 1 day updated ACLS courses offers a live 9 hour course. No on-line learning is associated with this course. This course is designed for those learners that prefer hands on learning to on line learning. Students must hold a current ACLS certification to take this course.
ACLS Full Course
The 2 day ACLS course is designed for first time students or students that have a lapsed certification.
Who should take this course?
The ACLS provider course is designed for healthcare providers (nurses, physicians, and other professionals who work under the supervision of a licensed physician) who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies.
ACLS-certification is not required for all clinical job roles at CRMC. If you are an employee, please check with your manager prior to signing up for an ACLS course if not required as part of your job description.
Your ACLS certification will expire in two years on the last day of the month in which you completed the course.
