February 11, 2015—Meet Sue and Annie – the warm, wonderful, smiling ladies from the Greenhouse Grill! Sue has been with CRMC for 35 years, and Annie has been here for 15. They brighten the days of everyone who passes through the Grill, and fully embody the TrueCare values of our organization day in and day out. It is truly a pleasure to feature these two today!
“I’ve had the opportunity to see so many changes taking place over the years. I’ve seen the new cafeteria be rebuilt, among other things, and I helped to break the ground for the new Greenhouse Grill! I get excited about this place; I have a lot of pride in my work and in this place. I have great relationships with our people here and the with larger community. We have undoubtedly become a part of each other’s lives over the years!
Even though at this point in my life I could retire, I choose to continue working here because I truly enjoy it! It’s nice to play an important role on our team, to meet people who come through the Grill, and to make a difference. I like to be able to do what I can to lift them up and show them how much we all care–patients and their families, employees, nurses and doctors and visitors. It’s a great place to be! You really get to know people and that feels good.”
“I like doing what I do because I’m a big people person! I get to see and meet new people every day and it’s very enjoyable. I frequently get the chance to interact with patients and their families; to get to know them, talk with them, hear what’s going on in their lives. It means a lot. I have great co-workers and really enjoy being around them each day. One of the best things I’ve ever done is to come to work at Cheyenne Regional. I love my job!”
