March 2, 2016—Meet Stacy. She’s an Occupational Health Specialist and RN at Cheyenne Regional Occupational Health. She’s been with us for a total of almost 3 years, and the experience and enthusiasm she brings to this organization is wonderful!
“I’ve been a nurse for 22 years now and I love nursing. I love all the experiences I’ve had in nursing, and I like what I do here because it gives me a chance to have a very specific patient base (we deal with the employees) and be able to give them what they need to do their jobs, and to keep them safe and up-to-date on important employee health considerations.
I like being on the front lines of meeting new employees, since they see us even before they start work here. It’s nice to be able to get to know them and help them to feel calm, at ease and welcomed, and find out what they’re all about. I always like talking to people and getting to know them; hearing their stories and backgrounds and learning what brought them to CRMC from other places and what not.
I enjoy this department and enjoy the group of people I work with. We make a great team and are very supportive of each other. We have a great time and it makes the workday go by fast in a fun way. I like working here because it’s a community resource for the whole region. Supporting the community and the needs of the people who live here is important to me—making great health care available for everybody.”
