The Cardiac Rehabilitation program is a nationally certified program that combines education and supervised group exercise to help patients recover from a heart event to improve your health and overall quality of life. Your physical recovery will be enhanced with a better understanding of heart disease and prevention through lifestyle modifications.

Cardiac Rehabilitation is for patients who have experienced the following:

  • Heart disease
  • Heart attack
  • Bypass surgery
  • Heart valve surgery
  • Heart transplant
  • Balloon catheter stent procedures
  • Heart failure
  • Peripheral artery disease

Inpatient – Phase I

The Cardiac Rehab team will provide education to help you through the healing process following your cardiac event. You will also be given tools to make your recovery and transition home as easy as possible.

Outpatient – Phase II

This phase offers a personalized, comprehensive experience that includes the following:

  • Physician-supervised group exercise classes with warm-up, cool-down and relaxation techniques
  • Individual diet analysis with recommendations

Outpatient Phase III

You will enjoy continued support of the Cardiac Rehab staff while exercising in a supportive group setting.
