Physical Rehabilitation Services

One day, the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center (CRMC)’s Physical Rehabilitation staff teaches a patient how to walk again after losing a limb. The next day, they’re helping someone speak after a stroke.

Each day, Cheyenne Regional’s physical rehabilitation services team works to improve the quality of life for people with physical disabilities caused by spinal cord and head injuries, stroke, amputations and other neurological and orthopedic conditions.

We offer inpatient, outpatient and transitional rehabilitation services to best meet the needs of each patient.

Inpatient therapy services

Cheyenne Regional Medical Center provides physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech and language pathology services when needed during the inpatient hospital stay.

A physician will order therapy to help a patient regain function after surgery or that was lost due to an illness or injury. Early therapy services can contribute to a better overall recovery.

Outpatient therapy services

Cheyenne Regional’s outpatient therapy team provides a wide range of services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech and language pathology.

We provide treatment for a variety of disorders, including acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders, neurological diseases and both work- and sports-related injuries.
