The Cheyenne Regional Medical Center’s Cardiopulmonary Department is proud to be ranked among the top 10% of hospitals nationwide!

Within our Cardiopulmonary Department, we provide services relating to or affecting the lungs and heart. Our work includes, but is not limited to:

  • The treatment, education, management and diagnostic evaluation of pulmonary and, to some extent, cardiac diseases
  • Providing cardiopulmonary treatments such as oxygen therapy, aerosol administration and therapy, airway management, and invasive and non-invasive ventilation
  • Quality inpatient and outpatient testing, treatment and education for adults and children who are experiencing cardiopulmonary and neuro-diagnostic-related issues

About our respiratory therapists

Patients of the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center’s Cardiopulmonary Department receive all cardiopulmonary treatments, testing and education from a Respiratory Therapist: A specialized healthcare practitioner trained in pulmonary medicine in order to work therapeutically with people suffering from pulmonary disease.

All Respiratory Therapists on the Cardiopulmonary Department team have graduated from accredited programs and passed a national board-certifying examination.
